An acoustical rendering of a construction site: This project consisted of a large wood box built from existing shipping crates filled with power tools. Photographs of the tools inside the box were formatted in a way that replicated common drafted orthographic views (floor plans, front and side elevations) The box was centered in the gallery and the images were placed on adjacent walls. A motion sensor was triggered when a visitor walked up to look at the photographs and the box would turn on and the gallery would suddenly feel like being on a construction site.
